Privacy
How we handle data on ti-web.ch, briefly and plainly.
Data controller
FremaTech, Savosa (Ticino, Switzerland), for the website ti-web.ch. Contact: info@frema.tech
Cookie-free statistics
For statistics we use Umami (self-hosted). It uses no cookies, does not track people and shares no data with third parties.
Advertising
When advertising is enabled, we request only non-personalised Google AdSense ads, in a single box after the article. The Google message lets you consent, decline or manage your options. Ad requests remain paused until our check receives valid consent. Google code is loaded to display and manage this choice: this contacts Google and may allow existing Google cookies to be read, even before your choice. Declining does not restrict access to articles. You can reopen your choices using Privacy and cookie settings in the footer. Google information: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites . The site contains affiliate links: these third-party services may use their own cookies under their own policies.
News tips to the newsroom
If you use the tip form we process: the text you write, any attachments (photos or videos), name and contact if you leave them, and your IP address — the latter only to limit abuse (rate-limiting). All of it is used solely to verify the tip and get back to you.
Retention
Tip data is kept for at most 12 months, then deleted. It is never shared with third parties. Nothing is published automatically: a person in the newsroom checks first.
Your rights
Under the Swiss data protection act (nFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data. Write to info@frema.tech and we will reply.
